Raymond W. Schuster
Raymond W. Schuster, 73 of Wyaconda died at 5:45 A.M. Tuesday, March 21, 1972 at Graham Hospital in Keokuk.
Born November 6, 1898 in Clark County, (MO) he was the son of Frank and Nancy Woodruff Schuster. He married Mabel Barrows November 20, 1921 in Kahoka. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Roberta) Rule of Montrose, Iowa, four sons, Leland W. of Kahoka: Richard J. of LaGrange (ILL), Franklin A. of Keokuk, and Gale E. of West Point, Iowa, eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Schuster.
He was a member of the Wyaconda Christian Church where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Dr. George W. Cartwright officiating. Interment in New Woodville Cemetery.
Visitation at Karle Shaffer until time of service.

Raymond Woodruff Schuster
Raymond W. Schuster, 73, of Wyaconda, passed away March 21, 1972. He had been failing in health several years.
Born November 6, 1898 on the Schuster home place east of Wyaconda and lived in that vicinity his entire life. He was the only child of Frank and Nancy Woodruff Schuster.
He married Mabel Barrows November 20, 1921, of Kahoka.
To this union five children were born, Mrs. William (Roberta) Rule of Montrose, Iowa, Leland W. of Kahoka, Richard L. of LaGrange, Ill. Franklin A. of Keokuk (Iowa) and Gale E. of West Point, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife and children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Schuster.
He was a faithful member of the Wyaconda Christian church serving as deacon for several years.
They observed there 50th wedding anniversary last November which he so thoroughly enjoyed. His congenial disposition made him a favorite of all. He was ever ready to help where needed. He will be sadly missed by his family who loved him so.
Service were held March 23, 1972 at 2 p.m. at the Wyaconda Christian church with Dr. George W. Cartwright officiating. Interment in New Woodville Cemetery. Music was furnished by Mrs. Harold Clough. Pallbearers were Girden Davis, and nephews Stuart Wood, Craig Walker, Guy Barrows, Ronald and Robert Colter.

Raymond W. Schuster
Raymond W. Schuster, 73 of Wyaconda died at 5:45 A.M. Tuesday, March 21, 1972 at Graham Hospital in Keokuk.
Born November 6, 1898 in Clark County, (MO) he was the son of Frank and Nancy Woodruff Schuster. He married Mabel Barrows November 20, 1921 in Kahoka. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Roberta) Rule of Montrose, Iowa, four sons, Leland W. of Kahoka: Richard J. of LaGrange (ILL), Franklin A. of Keokuk, and Gale E. of West Point, Iowa, eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Schuster.
He was a member of the Wyaconda Christian Church where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Dr. George W. Cartwright officiating. Interment in New Woodville Cemetery.
Visitation at Karle Shaffer until time of service.

Raymond W. Schuster, 73, of Wyaconda, passed away March 21, 1972. He had been failing in health several years.
Born November 6, 1898 on the Schuster home place east of Wyaconda and lived in that vicinity his entire life. He was the only child of Frank and Nancy Woodruff Schuster.
He married Mabel Barrows November 20, 1921, of Kahoka.
To this union five children were born, Mrs. William (Roberta) Rule of Montrose, Iowa, Leland W. of Kahoka, Richard L. of LaGrange, Ill. Franklin A. of Keokuk (Iowa) and Gale E. of West Point, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife and children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Schuster.
He was a faithful member of the Wyaconda Christian church serving as deacon for several years.
They observed there 50th wedding anniversary last November which he so thoroughly enjoyed. His congenial disposition made him a favorite of all. He was ever ready to help where needed. He will be sadly missed by his family who loved him so.
Service were held March 23, 1972 at 2 p.m. at the Wyaconda Christian church with Dr. George W. Cartwright officiating. Interment in New Woodville Cemetery. Music was furnished by Mrs. Harold Clough. Pallbearers were Girden Davis, and nephews Stuart Wood, Craig Walker, Guy Barrows, Ronald and Robert Colter.

Richard Lynn Schuster
Richard Lynn Schuster, 73 of Memphis, died December 21, 2003 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.
Richard was born December 17, 1930, in Wyaconda, a son of Raymond W. and Mabel Schuster. He attended grade school and high school at Wyaconda. He married Gayleen Briggs on April 10, 1952, in Memphis and to this union two daughters were born.
He was a veteran of the Korean War. He loved following the St. Louis Cardinals and walking the dogs and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Gayleen, of Memphis; two daughters, Melissa Gaye Schuster of Memphis and Jana Pisani and husband Mike of Paris, Michigan; three grandchildren: William, Carina and Geoffrey Pisani of Michigan; three brothers: Leland Schuster and wife, Edna of Kahoka; Frank Schuster of Keokuk, IA and Gale Schuster and wife Jean of West Point, IA.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Roberta Rule and sister-in-law Helen Schuster.
The family has suggested memorials to the Scotland County Library, Scotland County Care Center and Hospice 2000, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
Memorial services were held Sunday, December 28 at the Payne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Inurnment was in the Memphis Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis. - [S50] Interview, unknown informant.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 21 at 2 p.m. in the Holt and Wilson Almont Mortuary Chapel of the Garden. Rev. Wesley Steinmetz officiated. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
