Mrs. Amanda Smith Rites Are Today
(Chappell maiden name, Viers 1st Marriage)

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Amanda Smith, 110 W. Broadway, who died early Monday morning in a local hospital following an illness of two months duration.
Burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday in Clovis Cemetery (Mission Garden of Memories Cemetery) at Clovis, New Mexico.
A Native of Missouri, She came to Oklahoma in 1897 living first near Lahoma. She had lived in Oklahoma since 1897, except for 11 years spent in New Mexico.
In 1929 she moved to Enid to make her home with her son, Harvey Smith, 1110 W. Broadway. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harvey and Malen, both of Enid, and Ambrose, Edna, Kan. (Kansas); three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Laura Ochsner, Edmond.
All attorneys and Courthouse employees attending the funeral will sit as Honorary pallbearers.
