Olen Ralph Hartman, 93, of Greenbrier, AR, formerly of Van Nuys, CA, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at Greenbrier Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born January 29, 1915 in Goltry, OK, a son of the late Charles Hartman and Pearl Augustine Hartman and was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Augusta Pope Hartman; a son, Alan Kent Hartman, and two brothers, Lowell Max and Kenny Hartman.
During his early lifetime he had many different jobs including a cook in the Civilian Conservation Corps and also various restaurants. He retired from the Broach Company as a spline grinder machinist. After retirement he was self employed as an antique dealer.

Olen is survived by a son, Jay Hartman and daughter in law, Lynda Hartman of Los Angeles, CA.; a daughter in law, Gloria Hartman of Russellville, AR; Grandson Kevin Hartman & wife Cindy of Conway, AR; Grandson Brandon Hartman & wife Angela of Greenbrier, AR; Grandson Todd Hartman of Oxnard, CA; Grandson Ryan Hartman of Los Angeles, CA; and four great-grandchildren: Kobie, Emilee, Kaitlyn &Cayden. Visitation will be 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm, Wednesday, March 12th at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR. Funeral will be 9:30 am Thursday, March 13th at Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow at Paschal Cemetery in Moreland, AR, under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home 501-679-2575, with Rev. Steve Crawley officiating.
