Joseph L. Todhunter, 84, passed away today at noon at his home, 150 W. Union street. The deceased was employed for forty-four years by the Pennsylvania Railroad, serving as a road foreman of engines. He retired from active service at the age of seventy. Mr. and Mrs. Todhunter celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary fourteen years ago.
Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Repass of Chicago and also of the home, Mrs. Grace Pugh of Zanesville and Mrs. Jessie Heed of Cleveland. Three sons, William Todhunter of Lancaster; George of New Lenox, Ill. And Robert of Pittsburgh. One son preceded his father in death.
Twenty-one grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren also survive. The body has been removed to the J. V. Halteman funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by J. V. Halteman, the director in charge.
