Mrs. Clara Kennedy of 219 E. Atchison is announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Erma Lee, to Mr. Gene R. Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Barber of 901 E. Francis. The wedding will be solemnized 24 June (1949) in the First Christian Church.
