McCarty-Hottle

Miss Mary McCarty, daughter of Walter McCarty and wife of Quincy, and Floyd Hottle, son of Okie Hottle of Payette, Idaho, were united in marriage Sunday morning in LaGrange, by Dr. Ingham, Miss McCarty is a graduate from Quincy high school and Mr. Hottle is also a graduate from the Williamstown high school and was reared in this vicinity by his grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Kerfoot since his mother's (Fannie Verda (Kerfoot) Hottle (1896 - 1922)) death a number of years ago.
They will make their home in Quincy, where the groom has been employed for some time. They were accompanied by the bride's parents and her sister as far as LaGrange and were met there by his grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Kerfoot and his aunt, Mrs. Max Buford, Mr. Buford and daughter, Mable of Monticello, who witnessed the wedding. They all drove to the home of Mrs. Kerfoot and Wm. Tweed and wife, were they attended the Tweed tunion (Reunion). The McCarty's returned to their home after the weeding. Mr. and Mrs. Hottle returned to the home of her parents in Quincy, where a dinner was served in ths (there) honor Sunday evening.
The bride and groom were attended by Miss Darlene Hall and Jack Davis of Quincy.
