Thomas Jefferson Viers was born near Wyconda, Missouri April 19, 1880, and
died at his home near Berlin of a heart attack on May 25, 1948.

When he was 17 years of age, he moved with his parents to Enid, Oklahoma.
In 1901 he moved to Western Oklahoma and homesteaded near Gage.

On July 15, 1902, he and Irene Sheehan were married. Their children are
Walter Viers, Sayre, Oklahoma, Beulah Viers, Ima Marshall, and Beatrice
Marshall of Cheyenne.

About thirty-four years ago, he became a member of the Church of Christ and
lived a faithful Christian life to his death. His family will always
remember his Christian life and his goodly influence.

Besides his wife and children, he leaves four grandsons and two sisters,
Mrs. Zeta Haines, Gage, Oklahoma, Mrss Ica Van Devanter, Mountain View,
Oklahoma and several nephews, nieces, and friends.
