OBITUARY

BOLEY

Isaac Boley was born in Harrison County, Indiana, on July 3, 1836. With his parents, he moved to Lee County in 1848, where he grew to manhood. He was married to Margaret E. Schueitz on January 3, 1861, and to this union, two children were born. Mrs. S. B. Sollers of Donnellson, Iowa, and Mrs. Will Hauptman, deceased. His wife died in May 1868. In 1869 he moved to Clark county, MO., where he lived until his death. He was married to Mary I Davison. To this union, six children were born, John M. of Kahoka, Missouri, Elizabeth A., deceased, Huldah E., deceased, Mrs. Walter Brotherton, Ashton, Missouri, Joseph I., of Greenfield, Mo., and Mrs. Robert St. Clair of St. Louis, Mo.
In March 1895, his wife and two daughters, Elizabeth A. and Huldah E., died.
Mr. Boley was the third eldest of twelve children, five of whom survive – Frank of Kahoka, Mo., Mrs. John Kimport, of Liberty Center, Iowa, Mrs. Isaac Snyder, of Kahoka, Mo., Mrs, John Atherton, Kahoka, Mo., and Mrs. Nancy Burlie of Kansas City, Mo.

Deceased united with the Carmel M. P. church soon after moving to Missouri, of which he remained a consistent member until his death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Ashton M. P. church Sunday, June 24, at 11 a. m., by the pastor, M. B. Kious, to a very audience. Interment in the Ashton Cemetery.
