CARMEL.

Mrs. Will Schuster died Saturday morning at 2 O’clock and was buried at Woodville Monday. Funeral ser. mon (? service Monday) was preached by Rev. Mat Sexsmith of the M. P. church, of which deceased was a member.

Those from a distance who attended the funeral were, Ben Schuster, of (Richland County North) Dakota; Will Blizzard, of (Otero County) Colorado, and the Cress family from Keokuk (the Cress were related to Schuster family).
On account of the death of Mrs. Schuster, the childres’s (children’s) service at German church was put off until next Sunday at 3p.m.

LOCAL BREVITIES.


Mrs. Joanna (Blizzard), wife of J. W. (John William) Schuster, of near Cama siding, died Saturday morning, June 14, at 2 o’clock, after a long illness of dropsy, age about 45 years. The funeral occurred from Woodville church Monday at 11 o’clock, services being conducted by Rev. M.
Sexsmith. The burial was in the cemetery near the church. Deceased is survived by her husband and three children.
