WALTER CLOUGH

     Walter Clough, son of Samuel and Jane Gardner Clough, was born near Wyaconda, May 3, 1867, and died August 28, 1943. He was married to Miss May Harris in 1892. To this union four children were born, three daughters and one son, namely, Mabel, Madeline, June and Raymond.
     Surviving him are his wife and his children; Mrs. Mable Patterson of Lexington; Miss Madeline Clough of Kansas City; Mrs. June Cairns of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Raymond Clough of Wyaconda; one brother, William Clough of Kansas City; one sister, Mrs. Albert Blattner of Wyaconda; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; also a number of relatives and a host of friends.
     Funeral services were held in the New Woodville Baptist church, Monday afternoon, August 30, at 2:30, with the Rev. W. A. Kleckner of Columia, reading the service. Music was furnished by Mrs. B. F. Hutchison and Mrs. Josephine Fry, with Mrs. George V. Baskett at the piano.
     Pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased, Ben Layton, Arthur Dorsey, Roy Harris, Glen Clough, Harold Clough and Joseph Cooper.
     Interment was in New Woodville cemetery.
