Roy VanDeventer Funeral Service
Funeral Service for Roy F. VanDeventer were held Monday afternoon January 16, 1967 at
Mt. View with Rev. Don Groves, officiating.
He was born April 14, 1905 and
died January 14, 1967. He was in his
third year of teaching science and mathematics at Kaw City. He formerly lived near Mt. View and his
children attended school there.
He is survived
by his four children Mrs. Merely Mills, Faulkton, South Dakota; Mrs. Yvonne Gladden,
Oklahoma City; Mrs. Janice Timmons, Dallas Texas and
Gale VanDeventer, Garden City, Texas and his mother
Mrs. Ica VanDeventer of Mt. View.
Pallbearers were
Norman Roark, Harrison Wilmore, A. J. Feezer, Cecil
Cade, Harry Betche and D. H. Ragland.
Interment was
in Mt. View cemetery.
